Ben Clatworthy is a freelance broadcaster and journalist, specialising in skiing, travel and adventure sports. Born in 1992 and educated at Clifton College in Bristol, Ben is widely regarded as the youngest professional travel journalist in the UK.
Since launching his freelance career in 2007, Ben has established a portfolio of reputable publications for his work, including The Times, InTheSnow magazine, Outdoor Fitness, Monarch Explorer, The Travel Magazine, Vertical Drop magazine, Snowcarbon.co.uk, PlanetSKI.eu, and First Eleven magazine among others. He has also worked and reported for the BBC.
In 2011, Ben was announced as the winner of Youth Journalism International’s Excellence in Journalism Awards in the ‘Sports Features’ category. The awards honoured students in 16 different countries, with two winners in England.
