Ben Clatworthy, a freelance broadcaster and journalist, was born in Bristol in October 1992 and is 18 years old. Ben attends Clifton College, an independent boarding school in Bristol. In his spare time he is also a keen skier and races internationally for the Britain’s oldest ski club ‘Kandahar’.

Ben is currently in full time education studying for his A-Level Exams. He is taking four A-Levels in English Literature, Geography, Politics and Economics.
Ben is widely seen as being one of the freshest faces in media today, especially within the skiing and travel sectors.
Inspired by veteran broadcaster Sir Trevor McDonald, Ben had aspirations of becoming a journalist from a young
age. Ben wrote to McDonald aged ten and received a letter in reply urging him to enter journalism.
In recent years Ben has appeared on the BBC News Channel during a programme called ‘YourNews’ and reported for BBC Points West on the disabled education provisions available for children in Bristol.
In May 2010 Ben compered a Fashion & Music Show for an audience exceeding 1,000 people, held in aid of charity. The show featured clothes from local shops to high quality fashion labels and raised over £5,000 for the charity Opportunity International.
Ben also enjoys writing and has written hundreds of articles and features for a range of publications over the past years. These include First Eleven magazine and InTheSnow magazine among others. He is also the Racing and Sports Correspondent for PlanetSKI.eu which is a leading UK ski website.
