As a result of Ben’s enthusiasm for all things snowy he very much enjoys writing news, features and blogs that are winter sport orientated.
Ben has skied the length and breath of the Alps, visiting some of Europe’s premiere ski resorts along with some of the most obscure.
He wrote his first ski article in 2008 for the Ski Club of Great Britain and since then he has written over 120 different articles for various websites and publications.

Ben joined PlanetSKI in October 2008 just before its launch as a reporter. Ben has since covered many major skiing events, such as, the World Cup races, ski jumping and the British Championships to name but a few. He also helped cover the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and has written countless features and news articles for the website.
In September 2009 Ben was appointed as the websites Racing and Sports Correspondent and he will be writing for them again all season.

InTheSnow Magazine
Ben teamed up with InTheSnow in September 2009 as their Race Correspondent. The magazine is published from October to March each year and is the UK’s most-read, free ski magazine. In July 2010 Ben was appointed as InTheSnow’s News Correspondent and writes a range of articles for each edition. InTheSnow is working in partnership with The Independent in 2011.

Ski Club of Great Britain
Ben has written several articles for the Ski Club of Great Britain website. He was first introduced to them in 2007 and had his first article published in January 2008. In 2009 Ben undertook a four days work experience placement at the Ski Club. Ben has subsequently produced video reports for the Ski Club and remains in contact with them.
Ben is taking a gap year for the 2011/12 season and will be based around the Alps throughout the winter. Ben is always looking for new opportunities in the ski world so please don’t hesitate to contact him.
