Ben enjoys being in front of a camera, and he is regularly seen presenting different films and videos.

Ben produced a monthly news programme for three years when he was 14 entitled ‘News 140’. The programme was quickly acknowledged by the BBC who were ‘impressed’ by the high standard. The videos were posted onto the YouTube where to-date they have received in excess of 17,000 views. Watch News 140.

Ben Clatworthy on BBC NewsIn September 2007 Ben was approached to present a series of links for the BBC News Channel to be featured in a programme named ‘YourNews’ which was broadcast on the BBC News Channel and BBC One four times every weekend. The programme travelled around the UK looking at different peoples stories. Ben’s links were used in a programme broadcast from Rochester.

A report that Ben filmed about disabled skiing in March 2009 was aired on SKI TV programme ‘The Snowcast’ in April 2009 and is now available as a ‘Snowcast Extra’ film on-demand online.

In May 2009 BBen Clatworthy on BBC Newsen reported on BBC Points West on disabled education and the provisions available for disabled children in Bristol. BBC Points West reporter Andrew Plant mentored Ben throughout the production of his report.

Ben also regularly produces video snow reports for PlanetSKI TV which feature on the website as part of the weekly snow overview.
